Hello all! SWMS is busy getting ready for the second annual Miata Mayhem race event coming up October 22nd and 23rd, which will be the exciting finale to the SWMS 2022 season. This race is the biggest Spec Miata race of the year in New Mexico! Please register early to help us know w
hat the SM car count will look like. Together with Mike Travers, we have worked hard to bring plenty of good news:
Reminder, that there is a purse involved for the top three finishers in the main race on Sunday.
The purse is being fully sponsored by University Mazda. Mr. Bob Cockerham, GM/Partner has been gracious enough to sponsor this event again and will be on hand to answer any questions regarding the dealership. Many thanks to University Mazda!
All of our out-of-state entrants will receive a discounted entry fee for the weekend. Only $200 for both days of racing. Out-of-state discounts apply to car and karts. Registration is at https://www.motorsportreg.com. Online registration is now open, see the link below!
SWMS plans to provide a full race schedule within a couple of weeks.
We also plan to have a pizza and beer get together Saturday early evening.
We are hopeful that all local SM racers will join us for the race. We welcome all out-of-town racers that are able will join us in Albuquerque. The SWMS 2022 Spec Miata season has been super competitive!
